The criminal justice system must not only bring offenders to justice but also provide sufficient support to victims throughout the process. Priority 4 in my new #MakingWiltshireSafer Police & Crime Plan includes measures to improve the experience of victims by ensuring that they receive timely updates on their cases, access to support services, and fair treatment. By focusing on delivering justice and enhancing the victim experience, we will increase public confidence in the criminal justice system and ensure that victims feel heard and supported.
