We have had an incident reported to us this morning where someone left their car unattended whilst they were deicing and warming it up. The car was stolen off the driveway but, thankfully, later located by Devizes Police. 

Whilst it is essential and legal to make sure all car windows are clear from any obstructions before you drive, please be careful about leaving the car unattended with the engine running -  you will not be insured if it is stolen. 

Go out to your car a few minutes earlier and sit with it whilst the windows clear.
