We are appealing for witnesses following reports of a theft in Chippenham.

Sometime between 10,30am and 11.30am on August 27 a man met two other men at the Premier Inn, West Cepen Way to purchase a vehicle; an off white Toyota IQ.

The victim handed over £4500 in cash, but left the scene to move his other vehicle. When he returned five minutes later the two suspects had left with the vehicle and the money.

The suspects are described as black men, one around 5ft 7ins tall, clean shaven with short hair and wearing blue trousers and a light blue jacket.

The other is described as around 6ft tall, with short hair with grey bits, wearing glasses, a white collared shirt and a black jacket.
