Officers in Devizes remain committed to tackling knife crime following two serious incidents in the area in the past few weeks.

A/Insp Chris Wickham and colleagues will be hosting a community engagement session at Devizes Market where residents can find out more about what the local policing team are doing to tackle knife crime in the community.

The event takes place between 9.30am and 12.30pm on July 18th 2024.

The event is part of our wider commitment to reducing violence across the county – a priority set by Chief Constable Catherine Roper when she joined the organisation last year.

If you are unable to make this event, we are planning to run a similar event during the early evening of the 30th July - venue and exact time to be advised nearer the date.
