Wiltshire Police is looking for enthusiastic people to join the team and support young people to develop new skills and take pride in making a positive contribution their local communities.

Our Police Cadets are aged between 13 – 18 years old and work alongside our Neighbourhood Policing Teams to help keep our communities safe. The Cadets meet for a two-hour session, one evening per week during school term time. They learn from a curriculum provided by the National Volunteer Police Cadet Scheme that includes elements of Policing, understanding communities, social action, wellbeing, and personal development. Cadets also attend community events and get involved with local policing by participating in test purchase operations, promoting safety messages, and providing community re-assurance. 

We are keen to hear from you if you have an interest in being a positive role model and helping young people to develop skills and confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
