A report has been received of a male claiming to be a charity collector, knocked on a lady's door in Holt 01/02/24. When told the lady didn't have anything to give the collector became angry and intimidating. We have not been passed any descriptions but if we do we will share.

Here are some tips on dealing with cold callers:

Check before you open the door- look through a window or spy hole. 

You do not have to open your door- call 101 or 999 if you are concerned.

Ask for I.D- this can be shown to you from a window or through the letter box.
