You local Melksham officers have been working alongside our drone unit and Roads Policing Unit today to tackle unlawful e-scooters and illegal EPACS.
One e-scooter and one EPAC were seized - the EPAC was modified to be able to travel up to speeds of 35mph.
Sergeant Gemma Rutter said, "We have gone through the phase of educating riders, we are now enforcing.
"These items will now be seized and crushed as we continue our efforts to stop and seize e-scooters and illegal EPACS.
"You can not ride an e-scooter in a public place. If your EPAC goes faster than 15.5mph; does not have pedals and/or exceeds 250watts output it is unlawful and will be seized if stopped."
