Witness appeal following serious collision on A30 Salisbury Road


We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A30 just outside Shaftesbury yesterday evening (17/11).

At around 6pm, a silver BMW was travelling towards Shaftesbury on the A30 when it has collided with a black Toyota Verso travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the BMW, a man in his 40s, was airlifted to Southampton Hospital with life-threatening injuries. His next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the Toyota, a woman in her 40s, and two children in the Toyota were taken to Salisbury Hospital with serious injuries.

Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have dash cam are asked to contact the serious collision investigation team on 01225 694597 quoting log number 260 of yesterday’s date.
