Last night there was an attempt theft of a JCB in the COLLINGBOURNE KINGSTON area at approximately 2300 hours. Luckily, in this instance the owners prevention tactics have worked and the vehicle is secure. 

I wanted to take a moment to reach out the the rural community that are responsible for the machinery within farm lands to make sure that all prevention measures are in place. 

There may be a heightened police presence around farms within the area over the next coming days. Do not hesitate to approach officers on farm land if there is any concerns.
